CHARLOTTE - As part of the housing market starts to turn around, other parts are slow to sell, the higher end homes.

Sellers are turning to creative ways to attract buyers and often times that means opening up to renters, but a certain kind of renter.

The higher end homes are attracting an "executive" renter.

Realtors say homes under $ 170,000 are selling fast especially to first time home buyers with tax credits.
