Today I participated in a dual agency transaction that blessed me in every way. 

It was awesome to be a part of and to watch and share in the joy of seeing others dreams come true.    

Often, I have family members and other wonderful agents on our Team speak about the fact that I get so excited when a buyer or seller whom I’m working with goes under contract, as though I personally bought or sold the home. 

It doesn’t get any better than this!  A young couple in Highland Creek, Charlotte, NC, put their house on the market and within 24 hours, I had an offer for them with a buyer I had been working with. 

This buyer started out looking for multifamily units then on to foreclosures and eventually just single family homes in general.  My buyer had recently gone through a divorce and wanted a home for he and his daughter to live in.  His dream was always to live in Highland Creek,  he felt it’d be wonderful to raise his daughter there.  Long story short, my buyer made an offer, the sellers countered, buyer accepted and today, there were some teary eyed folks sitting at the closing table, including their 8 year old daughter who by the way had her own pretend documents to sign!  Everyone was so pleased and the sellers are now my buyers who have purchased a home in Cannon Crossing, Concord, NC and are waiting for the build to be complete!  Such exciting times for all and definitely some of the most appreciative clients I have worked with and literally one of the smoothest in over 9 years of doing this business.

I’ve always believed, “things happen for a reason.”  We don’t always know why or what, but today was proof that sometimes we don’t know exactly what we are looking for but when a great team of people come together, the outcome is incredible for all!
